The Russian club are known for their creative ideas on social media, and they have used it in announcing their new signing
Spartak Moscow have announced the signing of Victor Moses on a permanent deal from Chelsea. The People’s Team made the announcement in a sensational video post on their Twitter page.
The video started with Spartak saying they have an announcement before revealing it’s not about Barcelona legend Lionel Messi.
It then continued with a highlight reel of Moses’ performance last season. Moses spent last campaign on loan at the club.
The former Wigan star impressed enough, and that made Spartak trigger the option to buy him permanently from Chelsea.
Moses scored four goals and registered the same number of assists in 19 games in the Russian top-flight. The former Nigerian international’s performance helped Spartak finish second in the league and qualify for next season’s Champions League.
Meanwhile, the 30-year-old also took to his Twitter page to thank Chelsea for a fantastic nine years in which he won a Premier League title, Europa League and the FA Cup.
Moses contract with Spartak will run until 2023.
