Trouble in paradise? Ighalo allegedly welcomes a new baby from another woman as estranged wife hints at divorce

The Al-Shabab striker’s marriage may be heading for the rocks following the latest comments from his estranged wife

Former Super Eagles star has allegedly welcomed a new baby from another woman after his estranged wife congratulated him on Instagram.

Ighalo and his wife, Adesuwa Sonia, have been living separately since January last year- although they are still legally married.

Sonia took to her Instagram page to share the news that her husband has a new child from another woman. She also added that this is not the first child Ighalo has from another woman, saying the former Manchester United striker has another child outside already.

Sonia also hinted she had received her divorce papers, revealing she received an email from the court. The mother of three also claimed there are still many ‘slay queens’ still trying to get a hold of Ighalo.

Ighalo has yet to respond to the comments, but the former Watford striker is back in the country and recently celebrated his birthday, which had in attendance former Super Eagles stars.

He is also rumoured to be in a romantic relationship with Nollywood actress Lillian Esoro, who recently divorced her husband, Ubi Franklin.

Ighalo and Sonia both have three kids together from their union.

  • Sonia, let Ighalo be. Let him live his life the way he wants. Marriage is akin to bondage especially in Africa. The guy wants freedom so let him be.

    • An inspirational speaker, a comment from a marriage expert, or some ovasabi internet sensation, abi? If u don't know what to comment about MARRIAGE, be wise enough to remain in mute mode.

  • Ighalo is in a Muslim country, he is entitled to four wives, but he should not forget that very soon he will be out of the market, the old age will come, what you plan for your future is very important after football, not packs of women, you should used Kanu and Okocha for examples.

  • Ighalo leave your life like responsible Star , not like unresponsible star to marry many wife's did not make you look responsible think about your retirement and how you will leave your life maybe by that time those women you think they love you will leave you for another man . Your first wife is your really wife no matter anything. Eg , see the life of Okocha and Kanu and many others.

  • Unfortunately this may weather women are securing pass into life of ighalo wit those kids nothing more. After giving birth they will want to be in control and have ighalo for themself only and katakata will start and ighalo will run to another one the circle continue. I hope he can see his wife as his wife and side chick as side chick. Next 15yrs his wife and kids might be more settled than ighalo.

  • Mr. Ighalo, you may feel bad about our comment, pls don't be angry with us, we love you and we are your fans, we are always there to support you, however I don't really know what conspired between you and your wife, pls remember how you start life and any decisions you are talking about your marital life you have to be careful, I wish you the best family.
