The two eternal foes lock horns early next month in a friendly encounter fixed for the European nation of Austria
The Nigeria Football Federation has released more details regarding the time and venue of the upcoming friendly match between the Super Eagles and Cameroon’s senior national team.
The West African teams will face each other at the Weiner Neustadt Stadium in Austria on Friday, June 4, as part of their preparations for the World Cup qualifying series scheduled to kick off later in the year.
The match is billed to start by 8.30 pm Nigerian time.
Head coach Gernot Rohr has already invited 31 players for the clash between the two former African champions.
Simy Nwankwo and Terem Moffi headline a list of 31 players for Nigeria’s international friendly game against Cameroon on June 4 in Austria.
The NFF has also lined up another friendly meeting with Mexico in July as part of the plans to keep the Super Eagles in top shape ahead of their World Cup qualifiers.
The three-time Afcon winners have been grouped with Liberia, Congo and the Central African Republic in their World Cup qualifying group.
