The two African giants meet in an international friendly clash in Austria next month, but they could also play again at the same venue a few days later
Nigeria’s Super Eagles are set to take on the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in two separate friendlies in Austria next month.
The three-time African champions will take on their arch-rivals at the Weiner Neustadt Stadium in Austria on Friday, June 4, as part of preparations for the World Cup qualifying series scheduled to kick off later in the year.
But it was hoped that they would be able to secure one more friendly against another African nation after the Cameroon clash.
However, according to BBC’s Osasu Obayiuwana, the Super Eagles have not been able to find another opponent and are now likely to play against Cameroon twice.
But it does not affect their scheduled friendly against Mexico on July 4 at the Los Angeles Coliseum, United States.
