Iheanacho helps Leicester to a stunning victory over Man Utd at Old Trafford

The Nigerian international did not add to his 11 league goals, but he caused all sort of troubles for the United defenders as the Foxes strengthened their position in the top four

Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi both played from start to finish as Leicester City boosted their top-four hopes with a 2-1 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Iheanacho did not score, but he was lively in the attack, drawing a point-blank save from David De Gea, while his movement made a difference in the opener.

Meanwhile, Ndidi was brilliant in the middle of the park as usual with two key passes, three interceptions and six successful tackles.

Luke Thomas put Leicester ahead inside ten minutes, but Mason Greenwood levelled scores for a much-changed Manchester United side. However, Caglar Soyuncu sealed the three points for the Foxes in the 66th minute.

Brendan Rodgers side form was a worry going into the clash, but they moved up to the third position after the game- although they’ve played a game more than Chelsea in fourth place.
