The Super Eagles striker continued his incredible form to help the Foxes to a 2-1 win over Crystal Palace on Monday night
Former Premier League striker Clinton Morrison has described Leicester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho as a player that is unplayable at the moment in the Premier League due to his goal-scoring prowess.
The resurgent forward scored an emphatic winner against Crystal Palace ten minutes from the end after producing an assist for the equaliser just when it appeared Leicester’s pursuit of a place in next season’s Champions League was going to suffer an untimely blow.
This moment seemed pivotal for Brendan Rodgers, with Leicester edging four points clear of fourth place to stay third in the Premier League.
Iheanacho now has 14 goals in his last 14 appearances for Leicester. Only Harry Kane (18) has been involved in more goals than Iheanacho (15) among Premier League players in all competitions this year.
And speaking during Matchday Live on Optus Sport, Morrison praised Iheanacho’s remarkable goal-scoring form for Leicester City and insisted that he’s a different player at the moment.
“This guy is unplayable at the moment,” former Premier League striker Clinton Morrison said on Matchday Live on Optus Sport.
“When you are scoring goals like that as a striker, you believe you are going to score every game. He has been the difference for Leicester for the last few months.”
Iheanacho will hope to continue to make the difference for Leicester City when they travel to Southampton on Friday.
