The UEFA Champions League quarterfinal draw was held yesterday, and one of the clashes will see the last remaining Nigerian player in the competition take on the Blues
Super Eagles star Zaidu Sanusi is set for a trip to Stamford Bridge after his Porto side were drawn against Chelsea in the Champions League quarterfinals.
Sanusi was impressive over two legs as Porto stunned Juventus on away goals rule to reach the last eight. Their reward for the victory is a two-legged clash against Chelsea.
Porto host the first leg at the Estádio do Dragão on April 7 before travelling to Stamford Bridge a week later for the return leg.
Meanwhile, in the Europa League, Peter Olayinka and his Slavia Prague side have been drawn against Arsenal in the quarterfinals.
Olayinka was on target in Slavia’s 2-0 win over Rangers in the second leg of their round of 16 clash at the Ibrox stadium.
Samuel Chukwueze’s Villarreal will take on Tottenham Hotspur conquerors Dinamo Zagreb in another quarterfinal clash.
