The midfield-general was one of the Foxes best players last month, and he has been rewarded with an award nomination
Wilfred Ndidi’s goal against Chelsea has been nominated for the Leicester City’s January goal of the month award.
The Nigerian international scored his first league goal of the season when he fired in a left-footed volley from just outside the box to put the Foxes ahead against the Blues.
The strike has now been included in the ten goals nominated for January’s goal of the month award. The winner of the award is determined by fans vote.
Meanwhile, the former Genk midfielder is set to return for Leicester in tomorrow’s FA Cup clash against Brighton Hove and Albion.
Ndidi had missed the Foxes last two games due after walking off with a hamstring in the match against Leeds United.
However, Leicester manager, Brendan Rodgers confirmed ahead of the game against Wolves that the Nigerian international would return for the clash against the Seagulls on Wednesday.
