There was a disruption in the Oluyole Warriors clash against Inu Felele Boys, which led to the suspension of the game
Shooting Stars Olubadan Cup clash against VIA Football Academy was abandoned after the Oluyole Warriors disagreed with a decision from the centre referee.
With scores tied at 1-1, the referee sent off Adebayo, which was not well-received by Shooting Stars coaching crew.
According to reports, the match official decided to dismiss Adebayo after he stepped on the ankle of a VIA player.
However, Shooting stars management crew refused to accept the decision and the club’s general manager, Rasheed Balogun ordered the players to leave the pitch.
And as a result, the match had to be suspended with the match officials and VIA players also leaving the pitch.
It remains to be seen if action will be taken against Ibadan’s number one club. The Oluyole Warriors are currently preparing for the start of Nigeria National League (NNL).
