The former Super Eagles captain has finally responded to accusations made against his wife by his former international teammate

Kanu Nwankwo has urged fans to ignore the accusations made against his wife, Amara Kanu, by former Super Eagles teammate, Osaze Odemwingie.

Soccernet had earlier reported that Odemwingie went after Kanu’s wife, accusing her of sending him unsolicited messages.

The former Stoke City player also hit out at Amara Kanu’s parenting after her son made a sign in an Instagram post, which left Odemwingie uncomfortable.

However, Kanu has now responded to the issue. In a post on his official Twitter page, the Atlanta Olympic gold medalist urged fans to ignore the negative news surrounding his wife and channel their energy towards charities.

Meanwhile, following the former Arsenal star’s response, Osaze took to Instagram to explain his actions, in which he revealed the chats between him Kanu.

The 39-year-old revealed he was upset with the sign Kanu’s son made as it was glorifying satan. However, the footballer turned golfer said he has apologised for his actions.
