Jurgen Klopp’s men moved six points clear at the top of the Premier League table following an emphatic win at Selhurst Park
Eberechi Eze and his Crystal Palace teammates were on the receiving end of a heavy thrashing as Liverpool went riot at Selhurst Park with a 7-0 victory.
The Champions were brilliant from start to finish as Eze and his Eagles teammates could not find answers to the Reds fearsome attack.
Eze had a below-par performance for the 69 minutes he was on the pitch before being replaced by Mitchy Batshuayi.
It only took Liverpool a minute to show Crystal Palace it would be a long afternoon for them. The Reds took the lead inside the opening minute courtesy of a brilliant finish from Takumi Minamino.
Sadio Mane made it two via a sublime finish before Roberto Firmino controlled a perfect cross from Andy Robertson to fire Liverpool into a three-goal lead at half-time.
Klopp rang the changes in the second-half by bringing on Mohamed Salah for Sadio Mane, and the Egyptian talisman quality showed as he set up Firmino’s second and Liverpool’s fifth after Henderson had made it four.
Salah then got on the act by scoring Liverpool’s sixth and seventh. It was indeed total domination from the champions as they go six points clear at the top.
