See How Victor Moses Reacted To His First Goal For Spartak Moscow

The former Nigerian international scored his first goal for Narodnaya komanda since he joined them on loan from Chelsea

Victor Moses has expressed his delight at scoring his first goal for Spartak Moscow while he also dedicated to the strike to Nigerians, who have been calling for an end to police brutality.

Moses joined Spartak from Chelsea on a season-long loan with an option to sign permanently. He made his debut for the club last weekend, coming on as a second-half substitute in the team’s 3-1 win over Khimki.

Having impressed, he was handed a start on Saturday against Krasnodar, and he marked the occasion with his first goal for the club.

The former Wigan star doubled Domenico Tedesco’s side lead in the 33rd minute following Ezequiel Ponce 13th minute opener. Leon Sabua reduced the deficit for Krasnodar, but Jordan Larsson’s strike ten minutes from time sealed a comfortable victory for Spartak.

Following the encounter, Moses took to his Twitter account to dedicate his goal to the Nigerians that have been at the forefront of protest against police brutality.

Moses said Nigerians have a right to protest and not get killed for it. This comes after military men opened fire at harmless protesters at Lekki Toll Gate last Tuesday.
