FIFA 21: No Nigerian Star In Top 100

EA Sports have released the yearly ratings for its popular game franchise, FIFA, and no Nigerian star was good enough to feature in the top 100.

The video game developing company are the manufacturers of the popular football video game FIFA, with the first version of the series released in 1993.

EA Sports release each series of the game every season with the 2020/2021 version (FIFA 21) scheduled for an October release.

However, before fans get to lay their hands on it, the top 100 players for FIFA 21 has been revealed, but there’s no Nigerian star on the list.

The likes of Victor Osimhen and Wilfred Ndidi are two of Nigeria’s biggest names, but their ratings are not good enough to crack the top 100.

Barcelona star, Lionel Messi, leads the way with a rating of 93, followed by his arch-rival, Cristiano Ronaldo, who was rated 92.  Robert Lewandowski (91), Kevin De Bruyne (91) and Neymar Jnr (91) round up the top five.

Meanwhile, Liverpool’s duo of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane are Africa’s highest-rated players with both stars featuring in the top 10.

Salah comes in at number nine with a rating of 90, while Mane is the tenth highest rated player, also with a rating of 90.
