The Nigerian international scored his second league goal of the season in Al-Nassr’s 6-1 victory over Al-Adalah on Tuesday night.
Musa first goal in this season Saudi Arabian top-flight only came after 18 league matches, and that was in the 2-0 win over Abha a fortnight ago.
His goal against Adalah last night was his second goal in his last four league games- although he did provide two assists in the 4-1 win over Al-Taawoun.
It was Adalah that opened the scoring in the 13th minute through Carolus Andriamahitsinoro. But Abderrazak Hamdallah levelled the scoring for Rui Vitoria’s side immediately before Guiliano De Paula gave the home side the lead in the 17th minute.
Musa then extended Al-Nassr’s advantage in the 28th minute, and it was a peach of a goal. The Super Eagles captain fired in a half-volley from outside the box following a poor clearance from Adalah’s defence.
Giuliano and Hamdallah then scored their second in the 43rd and 45th minute respectively to give Al-Nassr a commanding half-time lead. Abdullaziz Al Dawsari 90th minute strike put the icing on the cake for Rui Vitoria’s men.
Despite the win, Al-Nassr remain second in the Saudi Pro League, six points behind leaders, Al-Hilal.
