See How Azubuike Okechukwu Celebrated His Super Lig Title Victory With Istanbul Bakasheir

The 23-year-old was part of the Istanbul Basaksehir team that won the Super Liga title for the first time in the club history

Nigerian centre back Azubuike Okechukwu has taken to Twitter to share his delight at winning the Turkish top-flight title with Istanbul Basaksehir.

The Faith Terim led side clinched the title ahead of Trabzonspor after they beat Kayserispor 1-0 at Basaksehir Fatih Terim Stadium.

Although Azubuike did not make the squad on that matchday, the 23-year-old could not hide his joy following his team’s victory.

The former Rizespor star was in the stands celebrating as his teammates did the job and after the match, he joined the celebration on the pitch.

It did not end there as Azubuike also shared pictures of him and former Real Madrid star, Robinho, who is also now at Istanbul Basaksehir.

The Super Eagles star also attended the champions dinner organised by the club, spotting an African native attire.
