The Lille striker’s future has been an ongoing discussion all summer despite having talks with Italian Serie A side, Napoli
Liverpool and Manchester United have approached Victor Osimhen, but the Super Eagles star has dismissed their interests as he is focused on a move to Napoli. According to L’Equipe per GFFN, the two Premier League giants both enquired about Osimhen’s services recently.
However, Osimhen is only interested in a move to Italy, and he’s hoping a deal can be agreed soon. The Nigerian international is Napoli’s number one target and was even in Naples in to discuss with the club’s officials.
But despite meeting with Napoli over a potential transfer, Osimhen is yet to sign a deal. It was reported earlier this week that the former Wolfsburg striker changed agents with the hope of securing a better deal.
And it now appears the decision is stalling a deal as his former agent has threatened legal action against all parties.
Nonetheless, Osimhen still hopes to sign his contract with I Partenopei as soon as possible.
