Player of the Year: Super Eagles Target Wins Three Awards

The awards have begun to roll in for England youth international and Queens Park Rangers midfielder Ebere Eze after an excellent season in the Championship

QPR’s dazzling midfielder Eze has been named as Sportito Supporters’ Player of the Year for the 2019/20 season, according to the club’s official website.

Two of such awards have followed, with the youngster’s incredible campaign seeing him also voted as the Ray Jones Players’ Player of the Year and the Junior Hoops Player of the Year awards for 2019/20.

The 22-year-old has been Rangers’ most outstanding star by a country mile having chipped in with 13 goals and eight assists in his 45 Sky Bet Championship appearances this term.

Eze, born to Nigerian parents in London, is eligible to feature for the Super Eagles and has been the target of top officials of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF.

Meanwhile, another of Nigerian-eligible stars at QPR, Bright Osayi-Samuel, has been named as the winner of the Daphne Biggs Supporters’ Young Player of the Year award.

The Club Brugge-linked winger also picked the award for the Kiyan Prince Goal of the Season for his spectacular strike against Birmingham City.
