Former Super Eagles Star Reveals Pogba And Rashford Dream

The two Manchester United stars have been out injured for some months, but they have regained full fitness as the Premier League prepare for its return, and that’s delighted Odion Ighalo

Former Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo, has revealed he can’t wait to play with Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford when the league resumes later this month.

Ighalo joined Manchester United on loan from Shanghai Shenhua on the last day of January, but he is yet to play with Rashford and Pogba as they were injured then.

Rashford was out with a back injury, and Pogba was ruled out with an ankle injury. While the two stars were on the sidelines, Ighalo was turning out to be fans favourite.

The former Watford striker was enjoying his time at Old Trafford with four goals in his first eight appearances. However, when the coronavirus pandemic struck the football season, it looked like Ighalo will not get the chance to play with Rashford and Pogba as his contract expired in May.

But United were able to secure him for another seven months after agreeing a deal with Shanghai. With his future settled and the Premier League set for a return, Ighalo revealed he is eager to play with his United colleagues.

“I’m very excited,” Ighalo told Skyports. Seeing them from outside is different to training with them. Pogba is back, he’s doing very well, he’s strong, he’s fit. Marcus is exceptional, a very talented player. I can’t wait to play with these guys.”
