Sad News For Super Eagles Striker Victor Osimhen

He’s had a brilliant year so far, but Victor Osimhen is currently grieving after the Super Eagles striker announced the passing away of his dad.

The Lille striker took to his Twitter account to share the sad news that his father has gone to rest. Osimhen revealed he was heartbroken, saying he still can’t process the news.

Posting on his Twitter account, Osimhen said: “RIP dad, no words to describe this feeling.” Following the news, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) sent a condolence message to the Lille hotshot.

A post from NFF on Twitter read: ” Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. Take heart and stay strong @victorosimhen9

Fans and journalists have also expressed their condolences to the Nigeria international who finished as Lille’s top scorer this campaign.  Soccernet also expresses her deepest condolences to Osimhen and his family.
