It should be recalled that the league was put on hold in March in other to curb the spread of the deadly virus.
The league returned on Saturday afternoon with a mouthwatering derby between Borussia Dortmund and Schalke 04 and other matches.
Dortmund annihilated their fierce rivals 4-0 courtesy of a brace from Raphael Guerrero, Erling Haaland, and Thorgan Hazard completed the rout.
Dortmund coach Lucien Favre, started Jordon Sancho on the bench, although the England star replaced Thorgan Hazard with ten minutes to go.
Still, the trio of Erling Haaland, Raphael Guerrero, and Thorgan Hazard tore Schalke to pieces leaving Sancho with little or no job to do.
