Nigeria international Emmanuel Dennis returned to the limelight with a beautiful strike against Manchester United on Thursday, to the admiration of former Juventus star, Sunday Oliseh.
Dennis opened the scoring for Club Brugge in their Europa League 1-1 draw against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s charges and has been tipped to move to one of Europe’s big sides shortly.
The 22-year-old was expected to switch to the Premier League during the January transfer window, with the likes of Everton and Newcastle reportedly interested in his services.
He has become the toast of many sides across the big five leagues on the continent since netting a brace for his Belgian side against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu during a UEFA Champions League group stage match.
No deal was, however, sealed for the £25 million-rated striker, and he will be hoping to help his side progress to the last 16 in the Europa League.
Nevertheless, Oliseh believes that with the talents of Dennis, he won’t remain a Club Brugge player for much longer.
“He is extremely talented, fast, technical, strong and scores goals!” Oliseh wrote on his verified Twitter handle.
“Always a pleasure to watch our Nigeria’s own Emmanuel Dennis play for Brugge. Man. U’s defence-line can testify. He is definitely knocking on the door of the big leagues.”
Dennis signed for Brugge from Ukrainian side Zorya Luhansk in 2017 and has developed into one of the club’s most prized assets.
