Simon Nominated For Nantes Award

Following his impressive performances, Super Eagles star, Moses Simon has been nominated for Nantes February’s player of the month.

Nantes revealed the nominees for player of the month for February on their Twitter page, and Simon will go against three others for the award.

The Super Eagles star has scored nine goals for Les Canaries this season, but three of those came in his last five games.

Simon was on target in Nantes 3-2 loss to Stade Rennais, while he also scored in the 2-1 loss to Paris Saint Germain.

The former Gent player also got on the scoresheet in Nantes dramatic 3-3 draw against Dijon, while he was also part of the team that stunned Olympique Marseille at home.

His fine performances have earned him a nomination for February’s player of the month. He goes up against Kader Bamba, Nicolas Pallios and Imran Louza.

The winner would be determined by a fan vote with voting set to close on Thursday by 5 pm.
