The Nigeria-eligible winger is a big talent and is probably the best teenager in the country, says Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette.
Bukayo Saka’s recent performances have been brilliant with the youngster notching four assists in his last five games for Arteta’s men.
And that has delighted teammate, Lacazette, who believes the 17-year-old is the best youngster in the league.
The 18-year-old has notched two goals and ten assists in all competitions for Mikel Arteta’s men, the best assist record of any teenager in the English top-flight.
Arsenal have claimed victories in each of their last three matches, with Saka creating at least one goal against Newcastle, Olympiacos (Europa League), and Everton.
All these he has managed while playing from a full-back role, despite being a natural winger.
Lacazette, a beneficiary of Saka’s assist at Olympiacos, has been left stunned by the quality the player exhibits at such a young age.
“He’s really good,” the France international told Arsenal’s official website.
“I think he’s maybe the best young player in the league.
“It’s simple: [it’s down to] his quality. He’s got a good left foot. Because he is humble, it’s easier for him to improve.
“He needs to improve in a few things, but you can see the quality he has, and he’s humble. The best thing for him is to be involved. He wants to work; he accepts criticism because he wants to improve,” the 28-year-old concluded.
