While he would have been relishing the chance to play at Old Trafford, he would have to wait after he picked up an injury in Club Brugge’s match against Royal Charleroi on Sunday.
He would miss the clash alongside the club’s captain, Eder Balanta, who misses out through suspension. With the tie finely poised after both sides played out a 1-1 draw in the first leg, Dennis absence would be a big miss for Blauw-Zwart.
The 22-year-old has scored nine times and provided two assists in 33 appearances for Club Brugge this campaign.
