Nigeria’s Star Joins French Side On An 18-Month Deal

Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has joined French side Paris FC from Rivers Angels in a free transfer, but the French side will pay a compensation fee to Rivers Angels.

The 19-year-old who came to limelight after her heroics at the FIFA Women’s World Cup joins the Paris based side on an 18-month deal.

She joins a side that sits in second place in the Women’s topflight division in France. The Sandrine Soubeyrand managed side are second in France Women’s Division 1 league with 32 points, three points behind leaders, Lyon.

According to Brila, Nnadozie is expected back in Nigeria this week to sort her visa issue before linking up with her new employers next month.

The Super Falcons star is expected to be the new number one when she joins the team in February and could make her debut against Reims on February 22.
