The Super Eagles star has not featured since he walked off in Everton’s 0-0 draw against Arsenal at the Goodison Park last month.
Iwobi went off after just eleven minutes in what was his first game against his former club since his deadline day move to the blue half of Merseyside. The 23-year-old has yet to feature under new manager Carlo Ancelotti, but he is set to return soon.
The former Arsenal star confirmed this after he posted a picture of himself holding his hamstring with the caption; “Back Soon”.
In his absence, Everton have won three of their four Premier League games, but they were knocked out of the FA Cup by Merseyside rivals, Liverpool. Iwobi has featured 20 times for the Toffees this season, scoring twice and registering one assist.
