Iwobi, Aina Reveal Their Favourite Musician Between Davido And Wizkid

With hits after hits over the last ten years, Wizkid and Davido are seen by many as the frontrunners of the Nigerian music in recent times.

The two have numerous awards between them including the MTV best African Act, BET Award, Headies and Mobo Awards.

The popstars have also contributed to the movement of Afrobeats popularity in the United Kingdom and United States Of America.

With so much success between the two, it’s no surprise to see arguments on who is better among their fans. Super Eagles stars are not left out in such arguments with Alex Iwobi and Ola Aina the latest to choose between the two icons.

In an interview on Goldmyne Tv, the two Nigerian stars were put on the spot by asking them to choose between Wizkid and Davido.

Both went for Wizkid although Alex Iwobi admitted the Soco crooner and Omo Baba Olowo (OBO) are princes of Nigerian music.

“They are both princes of Nigerian music, but Wizkid is my boy, the former Arsenal midfielder said.

It should be recalled that Iwobi and Wizkid were part of the Nigerian stars that launched the famous kit that Nigeria wore at the FIFA 2018 World Cup in Russia.
