The Super Eagles star did not pick any of his qualities when he was challenged to build a perfect player in a Q&A with Premier League uncut.
Iwobi who is currently out injured had a couple of surprising choices in his perfect player. The former Arsenal star went for the pace of Adama Traore, dribbling skills of Santi Carzola and his uncle, Austin Jay-Jay Okocha.
He picked Cesc Fabregas’ passing skill, the defensive solidity of former Manchester City captain, Vincent Kompany, the shooting range of Alexandre Lacazette and the physicality of Wes Morgan.
Explaining his choices, Iwobi revealed he went for Adama Traore’s speed because he has played a couple of times against him.
On Lacazette, Iwobi revealed the Frenchman finds the top corner nine out of 10 times every time he shoots, while he praised Fabregas passing range.
On Carzola, he praised his former Arsenal’s teammate for his ability to use both feet, and go past opponents with ease despite his lack of pace. But he also said if he’s not picking Carzola, he’s selecting his uncle, Jay-Jay Okocha.
Iwobi is currently out for Everton after picking up a hamstring injury in his side’s draw against Arsenal at the Goodison Park last month.
