Transfers: Klopp Set To Bid For Super Eagles Golden Boy

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has identified Lille and Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen as a transfer target as he plans to bolster his squad.

The 21-year-old only joined Lille last June, but he is already attracting interest from a host of top clubs across Europe after a brilliant start to the season.

The likes of Barcelona, Spurs and Chelsea are said to be interested in his services, but it looks like Jurgen Klopp is already making plans to hijack the move.

Osimhen has scored 13 goals in all competitions for Lille, and that has convinced Klopp who ordered the Reds scouts to provide a comprehensive detail about the Nigerian international.

Liverpool have arguably the best attack in Europe right now, but Klopp wants competition for the fabulous trio, and he believes Osimhen is the perfect player to do that.

With Osimhen just 21-years, the Nigeria international fits perfectly into the Liverpool model as Klopp plans to build a side that can dominate for years.

However, according to the express, Liverpool will have to wait until the summer at least, as Lille won’t entertain any offers for their prized asset this January.

It is also reported the club will not consider offers for any of their prospects until the summer of 2021 at least.

Osimhen joined Les Dogues for 13m Euros, but his value has more than doubled following a brilliant start to life in France.
