NFF, Leicester City Celebrate Ndidi At 23

Leicester City and Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have extended their congratulatory messages to Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi as he marks his 23rd birthday on Monday.

Ndidi was in the line up as Leicester City played out a 1-1 draw against Norwich in Saturday’s Premier League at the King Power Stadium.

The Nigeria international has enjoyed a decent start to life in Leicester, but he has really taken his game to the next level this season under Rodgers. He protects the defence and allows the attacking players to thrive.

The 23-year-old has become the perfect foundation for Leicester to excel in Rodgers’ favoured 4-1-4-1 formation.

The former Genk star has made 18 appearances and scored two goals in all competitions. He has replaced N’Golo Kante, who left the club after winning the Premier League in the 2015/2016 season to join Chelsea.

Leicester City wrote on their Twitter page:”23 today! Have a good one, Ndidi.”

The  NFF also wished the Super Eagles star a happy birthday at 23.
