Former France International Says Josh Maja Still Needs A Lot Of Improvement

Currently, one of the most outstanding strikers in the French League going by his impressive performance with Bordeaux, which has seen him score six goals and created one assist.

The one-cap Super Eagles forward was at his deadly best on Tuesday when he grabbed his first hat-trick to propel Bordeaux to a 6-0 win over Nimes in Ligue 1 at the Matmut Atlantique Stadium.

The Nigerian international had on Saturday netted a goal that earned the team a precious one point in the team’s 1-1 draw against Reims.

Bordeaux defender, Laurent Koscielny believes Josh Maja has the potential to achieve greatness if he continues to read the game carefully.

“It’s great for him and his confidence. You can feel that he’s starting to settle in and it’s bearing fruit. He works hard in front of goal, and he was rewarded.

“He still needs to improve in his reading of the game, but he has the right attitude to learn and try to do things well.”
