Ebere Eze Shows Why He Is A Man In Demand As QPR’s Manager Prasies Him

The Queen’s Park Rangers Midfielder is currently the subject of a battle between two nations, and he showed why in the Hoops 2-0 win over Preston on Saturday.

The 20-year-old put Mark Warburton’s side ahead in the 17th minute after he was played through brilliantly by Geoff Cameron.

He scored his second of the game from the penalty spot after Marc Pugh was fouled in the box. The England U-21 could have had a hat-trick but was denied by Declan Rudd in Preston’s goal.

The goals took Eze’s tally to nine this campaign, and it will build up the hype that has surrounded him this season.

Speaking to QPR’s website after the match, Hoops boss, Mark Warburton praised Eze, saying he is a special talent.

“It is down to him and how hard he works,” said the former Nottingham Forest manager. Ebs is a tremendous talent. I want him to enjoy his football and he has got to understand how much hard work is required to maximise the talent that he has.

“That goes for every player.

“We have got some very talented young players and some very experienced players in the dressing room too.

“You see Ebere’s quality with the ball and I want to keep working on his quality without the ball. To play at the very highest level, you have to make sure you have that.

“He is a talented boy, is playing exceptionally well for us, scoring goals and I hope very much that he is playing with a smile on his face as well.”

The win over Preston took QPR up to 14th place in the Championship table with 28 points- four points off the playoff places.
