Super Eagles World Cup Hero Makes Stunning Contribution To Impact 100 Lives

After becoming the first sporting personality to be made ambassador by  Kano state based Skyline University, Nigeria international and Al Nassr FC forward, Ahmed Musa has made a charitable effort that could impact about a hundred lives.

Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, has revealed plans outside of football to help 100 students have access to quality education after he was unveiled as brand ambassador of Skyline University in Kano on Wednesday.

Musa, 27, is the first Nigerian to score more than once in a FIFA World Cup match, after scoring twice against Argentina in the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Musa is also the first Nigerian to score in two FIFA World Cup competitions, after scoring twice against Iceland in the group stage of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Skyline University, reportedly the first private university in Northwestern Nigeria, is in partnership with the former Leicester City forward with a view to assisting the less privileged realize their dreams of “becoming anything they want to be in life”.

Ahmed Musa, who only recently returned from a two-month injury setback and played his part as the Super Eagles defeated Benin and Lesotho to top Group L of the 2021 AFCON qualifying series, reacted to his unveiling as the institution’s ambassador by reinforcing his commitment to education while also pledging to sponsor 100 students at the new tertiary institution.

“I am a great believer in the importance of education hence, my excitement in joining this great team to promote this vision of becoming anything you want to be in life as long as you can dream it,” he wrote on Instagram.

“So, I am pleased to let you know that I would be sponsoring 100 students at this university. Yes! 100. Details to follow shortly,” he added.
