Super Eagles Land In Maseru, Ready For Lesotho Clash

The Super Eagles have arrived Lesotho ahead of Sunday’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

The Nigerian contingents touched down this afternoon via Max Airlines for the big game at the Setsoto Stadium.

Nigeria are top of Group L on three points after overcoming the Squirrels of Benin 2-1 at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium on Wednesday. While Lesotho played out a 1-1 draw against Sierra Leone.

Nigeria have won two of the previous encounters against Lesotho in 2006 and 2007, but faces a difficult challenge this time around as the game will be played on Astroturf. The match kicks off 5pm Local Time
