Super Eagles Battled Back To Beat Benin But Fans Survived Horror Match Broadcast

Nigeria came from behind to defeat Michel Dussuyer’s side 2-1 at the Akwa Ibom Stadium in Uyo to make the perfect start to their AFCON 2021 qualifying campaign but fans had to endure a nightmarish TV experience throughout.

A fine individual effort from Bordeaux winger Samuel Kalu handed Nigeria the win and all three points at stake after a Victor Osimhen penalty had canceled out a Stephane Sessegnon’s early opener.

Super Eagles fans at home however were not able to see much of the action between Nigeria and the Squirrels as broadcasting issues meant only NTA broadcasted the match, delivering a horror showing.

With special honours to the cameraman and the commentator, fans took to social media site Twitter to spare no prisoners.
