See How Super Eagles Star Reacted To Burna Boy’s Grammy Nomination

Fans, celebrities and players have all been sending their congratulatory messages to Burna Boy after his album African Giant earned a Grammy nomination in the World Album category.

It is the first time the 28-year-old will get a Grammy nomination, and a lot of people can’t hide their excitement over his latest feat.

Among the people to congratulate Burna Boy is Super Eagles star, Leon Balogun. The Brighton defender took to Twitter to congratulate the Ye crooner.

The 31-year old posted on Twitter saying GBESE !!!!! Congrats #AfricanGiant @burnaboy🎉🎉🎉. Despite being born in Germany to Nigerian parents, Balogun has always been passionate about the Nigerian culture.

Recently, he was seen having a conversation with Nigeria’s pop star, Wizkid about how he misses Nigerian food. Balogun has only featured for Brighton once this season and was not in the Super Eagles squad that played Benin and Lesotho in the AFCON 2021 qualifiers.
