Oshimhen Set To Be Available For Lille’s Clash Against PSG

The 20-year-old has enjoyed a debut campaign at Lille so far, but there have been reports will miss Les Douges biggest game of the season when they travel to Parc Des Princes to take on champions, PSG on November 22nd.

According to reports in some quarters, Osimhen will miss the game against PSG on November 22nd having picked up three yellow cards in 10 games.

But it appears the news is fake as Osimhen will be available for the clash against the champions. Although the 20-year-old has picked up three yellow cards this campaign, the last of it came in Lille’s loss to Marseille last weekend which happens to be the 12th game of the season.

According to Ligue 1 rules, a player will miss one game if he picks up three yellow cards in 10 consecutive games including the League Cup and French Cup.

But with the three yellow cards coming in 12 games, Osimhen will be available for the clash which comes immediately after the international break.

His absence would have been a big miss for Christopher Galtier’s side who currently sit fifth in the Ligue 1 table. Osimhen has taken the French top flight by storm, scoring 7 goals in 12 games, while he has also scored two goals for Lille in the Champions League with the latest coming in Les Douges champions league loss to Valencia on Tuesday.
