Italian Serie A Side Ties Super Eagles Star Down To A New Deal Till 2023

He only joined the side last season, but Italian Serie A side, Udinese have been impressed with the work Super Eagles vice-captain, William Troost Ekong has done.

The Little Zebras announced they have extended the Nigeria international’s contract till 2023. The 26-year-old who joined the Serie A side last season has established himself as a key member of the team.

He made 35 appearances for them last season and has featured nine times for Luca Gotti’s side this season. Shortly after signing the new deal, Ekong took to his Instagram page to express his happiness.  He said; Very happy with my renewal. Thanks to Udinese for the confidence, the hard work continues!

Udinese currently sit in 11th place with 13 points from 11 matches in the Italian Serie A this season. They will hope to improve on their current standing when they host Spal this weekend.
