Eze Rescues QPR From Defeat

A week of controversies, criticisms and crappiness has finally ended on a positive note for England youth international Ebere Eze, after the youngster netted the penalty that earned Queens Park Rangers a 1-1 draw at Derby County.

Nigeria eligible midfielder, tagged the new Jay Jay Okocha, Ebere Eze converted from the penalty spot deep in first half to rescue a point from QPR and halt a rotten run of form.

Eze, alongside two other Nigeria-eligible players – Luke Amos and Bright Osayi-Samuel – started at Pride Park Stadium on Saturday evening to Manager Mark Warburton’s men battle to a stalemate against a formidable foe.

The hosts drew first blood when Waghorn whipped a free kick into the back of the net after 23 minutes but Rangers were pulled back on leveled terms by Eze on the stroke of halftime.
Lively winger Osayi-Samuel tricked his way into the box where he was brought down in the box. Eze expertly dispatched the resultant penalty kick, sending the goalkeeper the wrong way.

It would be recalled that the talented midfielder has been at the centre of a storm created by the Nigerian Federation supremo Amaju Pinnick regarding the international future of the youngster.

Ebere Eze has contributed 11 goals (7 goals, 4 assists) in 19 appearances for QPR this term.
