Super Eagles midfielder, Joe Aribo says he feels delighted to have scored for the umpteenth time in the colours of the senior national team against the Samba Boys of Brazil in Sunday’s international friendly match.
Aribo netted a sublime goal in the 35th minute when he defeated two Brazil defenders in the 18-yard box to slot home the opening goal for Nigeria. The game ended 1-1 as Brazil’s Casimero leveled parity for the Samba Boys in the 48th minute.
The Rangers midfielder last month scored on his debut game against Ukraine in an international friendly game.
However, in his official twitter handle @J_Aribo19, the Nigerian international applauded fans for their support.
“Tough game against a top Brazil side! The team put in a shift till the end. Delighted to have got a goal!! Thank you to all the supporters that came out tonight and also everyone supporting worldwide! 🦅🇳🇬 @NGSuperEagles #SoarSuperEagles.”
