Reports: Tammy Abraham Finally Decides Between England And Nigeria

The 21-year-old international future has been a subject of debate over the last few weeks with England and Nigeria battling for his services.

It appears the Three Lions have now won the war after reports emerged that the Chelsea striker will dump the Super Eagles if England manager, Gareth Southgate names him in his squad to face Czech Republic and Bulgaria in October’s Euro 2020 qualifiers.

Abraham is eligible to play for both England and Nigeria and has hinted in the past he will play for a team that call him up first.

According to the Dailymail, the former Aston Villa striker is set to commit his international future to England hoping Southgate will give him the call up this week.

The Chelsea striker has featured for the U-21 side and has earned two international caps with England, but none was in a competitive match.

However, if called up by Southgate this week and he plays, he will be ineligible to play for Nigeria who are still hoping he will change his mind.

Abraham qualifies to play for the Super Eagles through his dad who is a Nigerian. The 21-year-old has been in brilliant form for Chelsea this season, scoring seven goals in the Premier League for the Blues.
