Nigeria star stuns Real Madrid twice at the Bernabeu, fans react wildly

Super Eagles newest star Emmanuel Bonaventure has scored twice at the Santiago Bernabeu to give less fancied Club Brugge a 2-0 lead at the break to leave the home team stunned and fans wild.

Dennis Emmanuel grabbed a brace in the first half of Club Brugge’s face-off with the Spanish giants to become only the third Nigerian ever to find the net against Los Blancos in the Champions League.

The youngster, who made his Super Eagles debut in Nigeria’s 2-2 draw with Ukraine last month, opened the scoring after just 9 minutes before completing his brace half an hour later.

Dennis, with his brace, became only the seventh player and the first Nigerian to score multiple goals in a Champions League away match against Real Madrid, after Alessandro Del Piero, Alexandre Pato, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Lionel Messi, Mario Mandzukic and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

His feat has stunned not only Zidane and his men but also fans all over the world as their reactions have been as wild as the goals.
