Soccernet.ng rate the performance of the Man United players against Norwich.

Goalkeeper

David de Gea – 7: Brilliant tip over from Cantwell drive. Otherwise had very little to do.

Defenders

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 6: Sharp and quick as ever. Couple of good interceptions. Booked.

Victor Lindelof – 6: Shaky start. But settled better as United got a grip on the game. Steady.

Harry Maguire – 7: Fred got him out of trouble once. But looked cool on the ball as ever and kept going forward.

Ashley Young – 7: Kept getting dangerous crosses in. Got forward very well but had little coming down his flank. Booked.

Midfielders

Scott McTominay – 9: Very sharp to pounce and score his goal. Second of the season – United’s 2000th Premier League goal. Tireless.

Fred – 7: Steady but unspectacular. Worked hard and kept the ball well. One of his better games.

Andreas Pereira – 7: One shot wide. Worked hard and lively but Solskjaer will surely want more from him.

Daniel James – 9: Lively. Forced the penalty with a good run but VAR helped him. But then great ball to set up Rashford’s goal.

Strikers

Marcus Rashford – 7: One low drive well stopped by Krul. Poor penalty well saved by Krul – but recovered to score and then set up Martial. Showed character.

Anthony Martial – 7: Header brilliantly stopped by Krul. Took the second penalty after Rashford’s miss, and again Krul saved. Took his goal well.

Subs

Mason Greenwood – 4: Had little impact on the game.

Jesse Lingard – 4: Had little impact on the game.

James Garner – 4; Had little impact on the game.
