Luiz’s Powerful Header Earns Arsenal Victory Against Bournemouth

David Luiz scored his first goal as Arsenal managed a 1-0 victory against AFC Bournemouth in Sunday’s Premier League game at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners began the game on a sloppy note as the team failed to tidy up possession each time they are with the ball.

Arsenal, however, took the lead in the 9th minute through a David Luiz header to send the home supporters in wide celebration.

Bournemouth never really threatened and the first-half closed with Arsenal leading.

The second-half was hardly an engrossing affair, Arsenal more or less backed off without actually inviting pressure. A unique occurrence I must admit.

Bournemouth had the odd moment but overall the Arsenal backline and midfield looked at ease and swallowed up whatever Bournemouth had to offer.

It may not have been the most exciting game but on balance, however, Arsenal picked up the maximum points and maintain eight games unbeaten.
