Exclusive: Rohr Will Give QPR’s Ebere Eze His Chance When The Time Is Right

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has disclosed that the technical crew are keeping a close tab on Queens Park Rangers (QPR) midfielder, Ebere Eze and will soon extend an invitation to him to the Super Eagles.

Eze, who has been the cynosure of all eyes in England Championship due to his sublime skills and pace for his club in recent games, was at his best in QPR’s 2-2 draw against Reading last weekend.

There are growing fears that the NFF may lose the England youth international to the Three Lions of England just like Chelsea duo of Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori if he’s not invited to the Super Eagles squad.

However, an NFF top source told Soccernet.ng in an interview that the England youth international remains in the watchful eyes of technical crew and urged him to maintain his impressive form in the Championship.

“Yes Ebere Eze is doing very well for Queens Park Rangers (QPR) in the Championship in England and it’s good news for us. Besides, he has come to the Super Eagles camp before when we went to play in London. Our scout knows him very well. Nigerians should not be too anxious and put him under undue pressure.” the top source told Soccernet.ng.

“There is always space for a good player in a team, most especially like the team we are building at the moment. So the scouts are monitoring him, he’s known to us and we see how it goes. But you know a lot of young players have come into the team of late and it’s an ongoing thing. If you are good enough and you can bring something extraordinary to the team, we can always give you a chance.

“So we are very happy that Ebere Eze is doing well and believe that at the right time he will be giving the chance to play for the Super Eagles.”

  • Nff please we need Eze now before England snatch him away from us. Mr. Rohr should please invite him to the super eagles in our AFCON Qualifier. Iwobi and Ndidi needs competition to step up their games. Eze will be an asset to the super eagles. We also need Ejiara and Ademola Lookman

  • "Slow poison" NFF !

It is no secret that you do not know what you are doing. That was how Nigeria lost Fikayo Tomori who said the slow poison NFF did not approach him - and England snapped him.

That NFF top source said the scouts know him and are monitoring him. Which scouts? Scouts who do not know their right from their left. And how long will it take the relevant people to approach this player who reminds me of Sam Okwaragi ?

Now read this NFF : The earlier you make your interest known to this super star in the making called Ebere, the better because there will be no excuse if Nigeria should lose the one again to England.!!!

    "Slow poison NFF !!!"

  • The time is right for eze to be drafted into super eagles team, must we wait still when england extend invitation to him to team up with the senior team that is when NFF will be running up and down.

  • What is good about the news, that he has refused to pay money to be Invited to the national team or because we are so du.b to know that we lack the competitive power to fight with England over what nation between Nigeria ang England to chose by players.
If you don't invite him now, I bet you once he is in the premiership England will invite him just to prevent him from playing for any other team.

  • Pls nff should invite everyone now,it will not cost us anything to invite for a match and cap him.the lad is so good and will not take it again if England deny us of his service.also we can still invite tomore because England did not play him and will not.they only want to acquire him and dumb him like they played Abraham got only 3mnts.

  • I can now see from Nff member’s people bribe their way to the Super Eagles . Why wasting all this time? You are waiting for the appropriate time ? That’s nonsense . Just say you are waiting for him to bribe . You all in that glass house don’t know you left from your right . When you see a talent you know he’s gonna add value to your time , my dear you don’t waste time . You make the move ASAP . Stop talking bullocks .
