Barcelona Target Winning Streak Against Eibar

Barcelona will hope that the international break does not halt their momentum after winning their last three matches. They head to Eibar for what could be a tricky game against a team they could only draw within their last meeting but the visitors can come out on top if they take an early lead.

Ernesto Valverde’s men will be confident of a win on the road in Saturday’s early kick-off, but Eibar are unbeaten in their last four outings and could prove a tough nut to crack with the third-tightest defence in the country.

The absence of Pique could unsettle Barcelona’s back-line enough for Eibar to grab a goal at home, but the star power of Messi, Suarez, and Griezmann up front and the quality of De Jong and Arthur in midfield should prove too much for the hosts to handle

Head to Head

History is not on Eibar’s side in this fixture, with Barca winning nine of their 10 meetings and drawing the other game – though that 2-2 draw did come in their last meeting on the final day of last season.

Possible Line Ups

Eibar: Dmitrovic; De Blasis, Olivera, Arbilla, Bigas; Alvarez, Diop, Exposito; Orellana, Kike, Inui

Barcelona:Ter Stegen; Semedo, Todibo, Lenglet, Alba; De Jong, Vidal, Arthur; Messi, Suarez, Griezmann

Betting Tips

Barca are beginning to hit their stride and while Eibar should mount a stern defence, expect the Blaugrana to find a way through.
