Super Eagles star Wilfried Ndidi scored the fifth and final goal for Leicester in their 5-0 win over Newcastle at the King Power Stadium on Sunday.
It was the Nigerian international’s second goal of the season having already scored in the Foxes 1-1 draw against Chelsea earlier this season.
The win over the Magpies puts Leicester in the third position with 14 points, two points behind Man City who sits in second place and seven points behind leaders, Liverpool who they face on Saturday.
Ricardo Pereira put the Foxes ahead in the 16th minute, finishing after a fine run from the box. It got worse for the Magpies has Isaac Hayden was given a straight red in the 43rd minute.
Jamie Vardy doubled Leicester’s lead in the 54th minute before a Paul Dummett own goal made it three, moments later. Vardy got his second of his game in the 64th minute, heading in from close range before Ndidi put the icing on the cake.
