Super Eagles Midfielder Hails Nigeria’s 2-2 Draw Against Ukraine

Super Eagles midfielder, John Ogu believes Nigeria’s 2-2 draw against Ukraine in an international friendly game must be seen as a positive result.

Ogu, who was not part of the squad to Ukraine, commended the players for their wonderful performance in the team’s 2-2 draw against their host at the Dnipro Arena on Tuesday.

He stated this via his official twitter handle that the Nigerian players offered positive response despite missing some of the key players due to injury.

Great test Game from the team. Kudos to the @thenff for such a Grade A friendly for the @NGSuperEagles . We can only look at the positives in such a game. Above all,I’m really proud of the Boys . 🇳🇬🇳🇬❤️❤️❤️, the Midfielder tweeted.

The former Hapoel Beer Sheva midfielder was part of the Super Eagles squad that won a bronze medal at the 2019  Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
