Nigeria’s Super Falcons have qualified to the next round of the African qualifying series for next year’s Olympics Women Football Tournament after overcoming Algeria 1-0 in the second leg at the Agege Stadium on Tuesday.
Asisat Oshola broke the deadlock in the 59th minute with a sublime finish to extend Nigeria’s goal aggregates to 3-0.
Recall that the team defeated Algeria 2-0 in the first leg in Algiers a fortnight ago.
The team will face the winner of the game between Ivory Coast and Mali in the next round.
