Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp says his players should brace up for their toughest test of the season as the team face an exciting young Chelsea side that have revolve perfectly under manager, Frank Lampard in Sunday’s Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge.
Klopp last face Lampard’s Chelsea in the UEFA Super Cup last month at Istanbul, where the team emerged victorious via penalty shootouts.
He noted that Liverpool would prove their worth against Chelsea on Sunday as they hope to maintain their unbeaten run in the league.
“It’s not my job to talk about other managers, but what I can say is that they play exciting football,” said Klopp. “They’re an exciting team. Young, but good. For me, that’s not a surprise. Frank did an outstanding job at Derby, so I’m not surprised he’s doing a really good job at Chelsea.
“But it’s a difficult league and we have to prove our quality in a three-day rhythm. I really think he’s a really, really good manager.”
“They had a couple of problems but they sorted it well,” he said. “It reminds me a little bit of my team at Dortmund years back. “They were really young and people always spoke about that, but they only played because they were that good.
